In your role as an Analyst, you will use your technical and mathematical knowledge, your analytical mindset and business skills, so that our customers can get all the safety they need and want. About the role
Our team is responsible for developing and pricing the liability insurances we offer to commercial customers. We expect you to take true ownership of our common mission to grow profitably and be the most caring insurance company. We see a great potential in analyzing our own historic data, as well as utilizing external data to improve processes, increase data quality and sharpen our pricing of liability insurances. To sharpen the pricing, we also wish to look into new ways of utilizing modern models and tools. You will be a key player in this work. You will have an impact on the sales process, and on setting more risk correct prices for tens of thousands of customers. In this role you will also work frequently with other units such as sales and claims. You will learn a lot, do concrete valuable work, and be among many great colleagues across the Nordics.
About the team
Our team, Product & Price Liability, is a Nordic team. Even though we have a national country responsibility for each local portfolio, we work closely together to create the best common solutions across Nordic. You will work both as a dedicated Finnish resource, but also often in common Nordic works.
Who are you?
To succeed in this role, you should get lot of energy out of solving challenging and concrete problems. You are passionate about data science and statistics and want to apply the insights you get from data to valuable solutions. You work efficiently, but also have the patience to spend the necessary time understanding and quality checking the data. You enjoy exploring new tools, and it is an advantage if you have experience with the tools and languages we use (Databricks, Python, SQL and Excel). We work in a team towards a common goal, so willingness to share knowledge, and caring about the people around you is highly valued.
You also have:
Academic background within mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, or computer science
Fluent communication skills in English and Finnish
Previous experience in analytical roles is a benefit, but not a requirement.

Work location: Espoo or Turku. Some travel within Finland and Nordic countries will be required.
