Scope: The role requires extensive expertise in AI/ML network management to drive the transition to a Digital Telco model. This role also needs deep knowledge of AI and machine learning applications within network operations, focusing on smart and predictive management to enhance user experience, optimize network performance, and guide resource expansion through advanced analytics and modeling. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing AI/ML-driven use cases, either through internal development or by leveraging leading industry practices. This position is critical as our current internal resources do not meet the requisite level of expertise needed to achieve our strategic goals in network management.

Responsibilities:

• Define Data Architecture towards analytics target architecture and prepare for a Data Management Roadmap.
• Lead the development and deployment of machine learning models to enhance network performance, predict maintenance needs, and improve customer experience. Implement advanced analytics solutions to identify patterns, trends, and insights from large telecom datasets.
• Identifying valuable data sources and automating collection processes. Analyzing large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns. Building predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
• Create and support to develop data models, data warehouses, and data lakes tailored to telecom network, customer, complaint and analytical data.
• Integrate data from various sources, including network and subscriber probe data, network performance and fault, customer interactions, and operational systems data to build a central data lake solution ensuring data quality, consistency, and security across all data solutions.
• Implement data governance practices and frameworks to ensure data quality, compliance, and security.
• Identify trends in data science within and outside of traditional BI. Initiate and turn derived insights into new data science approaches relevant to Telecom Network Planning and Optimization.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Expertise in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of telecom network concepts, including LTE, 5G, RF optimization, and network performance metrics.

Education, Skills & Experience Requirements:        

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 8-10 years experience in network planning, optimization, or performance management with hands on experience of AI/ML algorithms and Use cases.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization techniques.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
