Your Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner, Advanced Analytics to lead a dynamic team of data scientists. You will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle of analytics initiatives, defining product vision, setting priorities, and driving the development of advanced analytics solutions that provide valuable insights and contribute to our strategic objectives.

Your Responsibilities
- Drive the development of advanced analytics strategies aligned with organizational objectives, leveraging cutting-edge techniques and technologies to guide strategic decisions on product development, pricing, underwriting, and claims processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including IT, operations, UW, and claims, to identify business needs, align analytics initiatives, and translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations.
- Own end-to-end project management for key analytics initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, effective allocation of resources, and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage and mentor a team of highly skilled data scientists, providing guidance, professional development opportunities.
- Employ agile methodologies to improve project processes, enhance team collaboration, and ensure regular delivery of insights that drive business decisions.
- Develop, prioritize and maintain the product roadmap and squad backlog to drive speed-to-market and business impact.
- Monitor dependencies and risks, and actively work with relevant stakeholders to mitigate or resolve.
- Measure and track performance of key metrics in line with the OKRs; generate insights and feed back into the roadmap and delivery
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data analytics, machine learning, and predictive modelling techniques, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and methodologies for continuous improvement.
- Promote the use of advanced analytics and data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions regarding product development, pricing strategies, and risk management within the insurance portfolio.
- Ensure that all analytics initiatives comply with industry regulations and guidelines, including data privacy standards, and participate in audits regarding data usage and analytics practices.
Your Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong experience (7+ years) in advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques.
- Strong grasp of machine learning principles, including supervised and unsupervised learning, natural language processing (NLP), text analytics, and deep learning techniques
- Proficiency in Python programming; familiarity with PySpark is desirable.
- Experience with Databricks, GenAI, and MLOps is a plus.
- Proficiency in Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to manage analytics projects and deliver iterative.
- Hands-on end-to-end digital product management lifecycle experience, preferably in insurance industry setting.
- Fluency in data and analytics driven decision making and feedback loops into product development.
- Ability to provide hands-on direction and day-to-day execution ownership in a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically; Also, an empathic approach to understand user needs and motivations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable in engaging with senior leadership
- Strong self-motivator with a contagious ability to spread energy to team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours in line with off-shore team in India.
