In this position... 
Lead a team of data scientists and software engineers focused on innovation in the marketing analytics space with an emphasis on product development and delivery of advanced analytics and GenAI methods.

A great opportunity to lead a team focused on innovation in the marketing analytics space. Develop products that support our internal marketing customers with advanced analytics solutions focusing on Gen AI related methods. The work will range from applied research, including working with external research teams; integration with advanced martech partner solutions; to research and development of solutions completely within the Marketing Analytics Innovation Lab team. You will lead a team of data scientists and software engineers to conduct analytics methodology research, POC/pilot development, and productionize solutions leveraging agile software development.

This position will be responsible for leading a team of data scientists and software engineers, and potentially data analysts/data engineers, in the development and delivery of solutions and services in the marketing analytics domain. The Product Manager will be responsible for understanding the customer’s needs, setting team objectives, developing appropriate solutions, launching/supporting those solutions, and ensuring ongoing value is derived from the solutions. It is especially important that the Innovation Lab Product Manager provide vision and strive for identifying innovative analytics solutions that will deliver competitive advantage and ideally market disruption. As a supervisor with direct reports, the Product Manager will also be responsible for developing team members.


What you'll do...
Prioritization to drive efficient resource usage and value delivery
Ability to gauge research and development risk and manage the fine line of innovation vs. likelihood of success
Ensure the suitability of advanced analytics and technology implementations
Staying up to date with cutting edge advancements of GenAI methods and technology and integrating into solutions as appropriate
Collaborate with other teams both internal and external to the Marketing Analytics team
Provide an excellent example of Ford+ behaviors within the Marketing Analytics team
Implement “Close the loop”, OKR, and Performance+ objectives/processes within Marketing Analytics
Support and mentor Marketing Analytics team members in their day-to-day work and overall career objectives including fostering a DEI driven, safe, creative, challenging, and enjoyable workplace
Engaging with business partners to understand their requirements relative to annual objectives 


You'll have... 
Bachelor of Science degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, computer engineering or related field or a combination of equivalent experience and education
1+ years of demonstrated experience as leading or part of a team delivering successful technology products
1+ years of advanced knowledge of Gen AI capabilities and data science applications experience
3+ years of data science solution development experience
3+ years of demonstrated direct experience developing and delivering Machine Learning models, algorithms, and solutions
3+ years of experience in Python programing skills and proficient understanding of GCP/BigQuery or equivalent cloud data environment

Master of Science degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, computer engineering or related field 
3+ years of demonstrated experience as leading or part of a team delivering successful technology products
2+ years of advanced knowledge of Gen AI capabilities and data science applications experience
5+ years of data science solution development experience
5+ years of demonstrated direct experience developing and delivering Machine Learning models, algorithms, and solutions
5+ years of experience in Python programing skills and proficient understanding of GCP/BigQuery or equivalent cloud data environment
3+ years of leading data science solution development teams
Experience developing Gen AI based data science solutions
Understanding of and experience working in the marketing communications and marketing analytics domains
Experience managing data discovery, integration and application development
Experience with analytics methodology research
Independent self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills
Positive thinker; yes, not no; and inspiring to others on the team
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships and work across teams
