Senior Risk Analyst - Driver

About the Role
You will be a part of the team which oversees the risk management for the Gojek Drivers and will report directly to the Driver Risk Manager. With your expertise in risk/fraud domain, you’ll be instrumental in helping our team identify fraud patterns and trends, evaluating the risk assessment of both existing & new products, building models that would measure risk assessment & strategizing on process efficiency thus providing and sustaining a safe and reliable platform that our customer can count on and love to come back to.

What you will do

• Identify new fraud emerging trends/patterns and recommend solutions both at the strategic and tactical levels, balancing the business vision and the practicality of implementations 
• Assess, validate, and optimize risk rules to ensure best outcomes and to meet stipulated risk target metrics 
• Identify risk assessment from products, systems, processes and recommend possible preventive measures
• Influence roadmaps of partner teams, including the wider Risk organization, Data Science, Engineering, Product Management, Mobility business, Operations and Finance
• Identify and predict blockers, conflicts and risks to projects across multiple teams and seek solutions to drive timely execution
• Deliver insight, analysis using statistical tools, data visualization, and business use case to product and business team.

What you will need

• At least 3 years of experience in analytical, problem-solving roles in a fast-paced environment (prior experience in fraud/risk domain is preferred)
• Strong project management skills on collaborating with multiple key stakeholders and product manager to improve processes and improve products to reduce the overall risk of departments
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy and present them clearly and coherently to various stakeholders
• Should be able to work independently, take quick decisions & recommend effective solutions on a day-to-day basis, and always backed by strong data points
• Adept at wrangling both structured & unstructured data and crunching insights with the help of SQL, BigQuery, Python, R, etc., and visualization tools like Tableau, DataStudio, etc.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills focused on improving collaboration, knowledge, and information exchange across various stakeholders.
• Being exposed to building statistical models using both unsupervised & supervised learning algorithms is a plus
