General Role Description

As IT Data Analytics Specialist with finance you will collaborate with all the FP&A Function and Regional Managers, Analysts, Finance Partners to automate the Global performance reporting processes, to automate, standardize and build finance reports to deliver the financial story line in a disciplined, meaningful way.

The work will be carried out within a highly motivated team that will offer support in daily tasks. The work is done in an environment which emphasizes customer satisfaction, entrepreneurship, ownership and achieving results.

Key responsibilities: In this role you will:

  • Lead data analysis efforts by gathering, cleaning, and interpreting large datasets to support business operations and strategy.
  • Develop and implement advanced data models, predictive analytics, and statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders in an easily digestible format.
  • Provide actionable insights to business leaders and team members to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Collaborate with teams within Finance to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior data analysts, providing support with technical challenges and fostering their professional growth.
  • Develop and automate data pipelines for regular reporting and analysis, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by applying data governance and best practices in data management.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, translating complex technical information into business language.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in data analysis and apply them to improve processes.

Requirements:

Education: University Degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistical Modeling or any equivalent courses.

Experience and key skills:

  • 9+ years postgraduate experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence Analysis of financial data or Finance with developing of financial reporting solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of and ability to use several programming languages including but not limited to Power BI, Python, SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Experience with back-end analysis and reporting tools as well as other financial planning & reporting systems.
  • Understanding of large data systems and using appropriate techniques to retrieve, define and publish financial data models.
  • Familiar with using a range of data sources including Oracle, Excel, Smartsheet, SharePoint, etc.
  • Experience managing and consolidating large data sets to drive a simplified message.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to understand and transpose financial data to various data analysis tools with help from financial analysts.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Previous experience in an international and culturally diverse organization is a plus.
  • High level of ownership and accountability.
  • Language skillsEnglish – Minimum C1 required.
