Premier Companies is looking for someone eager to help build out a Business Intelligence from the ground up.
You will have the opportunity to work along side industry leaders helping to create reports driving process efficiencies and prepare the company for continued growth into the future of business decisions. This position will primarily collaborate with users helping to both create and educate on how they can have have dashboards and reports accessible right at their fingertips. Additionally, this position will the point of contact for our ERP, helping maintain the system for data integrity through processes and advancements within the system and daily procedures.
Primary Duties:
- Data Analysis and Reporting.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Analyze datasets to uncover trends and insights.
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity within BI systems.
ERP Data Management:
- Assist in integrating data from multiple sources into Power BI, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
- Control and manage ERP system to help support business operations along with the technology helpdesk.
- Provide helpdesk support for the ERP System.
- Point of contact for all system modifications/changes to the database and roll out of updates and advancements.
- Assist in migration of data and processes from Acquisitions and Mergers.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Communicate findings and insights through compelling visualizations and reports.
- Collaborate with the Technology Specialist to determine the technology needs to be able to help support your analysis projects.
Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to end-users on how to use Power BI for their reporting needs.
- Develop user guides and documentation to facilitate self-service reporting.
Technical Support:
- Provide as primary support contact for Power BI users.
- Troubleshoot issues related to data integration and report generation.
- Backup helpdesk on any business-related software needs
In addition to the above duties, you may also be involved in projects related to other aspects of technology within the business revolving around systems and processes.
Requirements
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems (Agricultural Business or a related field)
- Knowledge in Power BI for designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports.
- Strong understanding of data integration and data management.
- Experience with ERP systems and managing ERP data, (Knowledge of AS400 and or AgVantage Software a plus)
- Knowledge of SQL and other data querying languages.
- Familiarity with data validation and ensuring data quality.
- Experience in project management and process optimization.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
