Role Purpose

• The Margin Assurance Intelligence Analyst is responsible for analysing and monitoring across various revenue/cost streams to ensure accuracy and profitability.
• This role involves leveraging data analytics and business intelligence tools to identify revenue and cost leakages from a 2nd line of control perspective.
• The analyst collaborates closely with finance, operations, and commercial teams to provide actionable insights that enhance decision-making and drive sustainable profitability.
• Additionally, they play a key role in developing, refining and utilising margin assurance frameworks, ensuring robust controls and continuous process improvements.
• By integrating advanced data analytics with financial acumen,the Margin Assurance Intelligence Analyst proactively identifies trends, risks, and inefficiencies that may impact revenue and cost integrity.
• This role also involves the ability to interpret complex data sets and present and clearly communicate findings and recommendations effectively to senior management.
• Through continuous monitoring, strategic analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, the analyst contributes to the overall financial health and competitive advantage of Vodafone.

Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities:

• Operate 2nd Line Margin Assurance controls.
• Enhance and innovate 2nd Line Margin Assurance controls.
• Deliver against Margin Assurance Global Objectives e.g. implementation and execution of Margin Assurance Risk Framework.
• Compliance with Global Margin Assurance reporting commitments.
• Collaborate across a global Margin Assurance Community.
• Engage and support ongoing transformation programmes across the VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions) Margin & Corporate Assurance team.

We Are Looking For You, If You Have:

Essential

• Be an expert in SQL and data mining tools and techniques. 
• Be proficient in one or more programming languages, such as Python,  JavaScript,/Typescript,  C# , Java, C++, etc… 
• Have 3-5 years of industry experience in data analytics. 
• Be an expert in one or more data visualization tools. 
• Have excellent written and oral English skills. 
• Have a proven record of accomplishment in a previous role. 
• Clear understanding of the 3 lines of Defence model.
• Understand and leverage AI and industry cutting edge developments, tools, and best practices.

Desirable

• Previous experience in the telecoms industry or consultancy sector. 
• Previous roles in data science, audit, revenue/margin assurance. 
• Knowledge of revenue/margin assurance tools and techniques. 
• Exposure to risk management and control principles and practices.
