This can be a remote role within the US or located at one of our Perficient offices.
This candidate will help analyze, build and track digital commerce key performance indicators, metrics and all relevant revenue uplift categories by reviewing current state ecommerce environments and provide thoughtful, data driven recommendations and approaches.
This candidate should be comfortable working in a challenging and fast-paced environment as well as working with senior leaders including C-Level in identifying technology trends and disruptors and then developing strategic plans.
This role is at the forefront of our strategic initiatives, working directly with customers to shape digital buying experiences that drive innovation and growth. The Digital Commerce Analytic Analyst is responsible for creating a vision, strategy and KPI governance model to align business driven goals to customer experiences. They should be able to review customer site metrics and analytics data to establish baselines and identify potential actionable insights and opportunities along with recommendations and enhancements to further guide the measurement strategy. Finally, the ideal candidate will be able to Identify gaps and opportunities for enhanced measurement, analytics, and reporting to support digital marketing efforts
Your job
Digital Commerce Analytics Analyst professionals at Perficient dig deep into eCommerce data points and metrics to provide guidance, strategies and recommendations to clients around areas of opportunity that help drive revenue, growth and customer satisfaction. On a daily basis, you will work with cross functional teams to help aid in three key areas:
- Sales pursuits – The ideal candidate will help design, create and implement sales approaches that showcase the value of effectively analyze key eCommerce data points as a justification model for budgets and go forward approaches. You will collaborate with sales teams to build compelling stories and help Perficient win deals.
- Billable Time – You will act as a billable resource on projects to help clients analyze, guide and strategize their future state commerce KPI / Metric strategy, helping to provide insight and uplift around business and technical data point benchmarks that should be leveraged to define digital commerce success.
- Thought Leadership – The ideal candidate will be comfortable writing blogs, creating video content and speaking at events in detail around everything and anything digital commerce KPI / Metrics. Thought leadership is a key area that helps us showcase our solutions to the market, and to help Perficient differentiate as a leader in this space.
Digital Commerce Analytics Analyst
Purpose of this role is to review, analyze and define current state digital commerce KPIs, metrics and data points to provide recommendations and approaches that help achieve higher customer engagement, revenue growth and overall customer satisfaction.
Core Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret large eCommerce datasets to uncover valuable insights and trends related to customer behavior, sales, and marketing campaigns.
- Review of reporting metrics, KPis, goals and dashboards, along with recommendations and enhancements to further guide the measurement strategy
- Identification of gaps and opportunities for enhanced measurement, analytics, and reporting to support digital marketing efforts
- Help to prioritize future state digital commerce feature recommendations as backlogged items based upon elements that yield the highest uplift for core KPI and metrics.
- Create comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to address specific business questions and provide timely insights.
- Identify and troubleshoot data issues, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data sources.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in eCommerce analytics.
- Extract, manipulate, and analyze data effectively using tools and techniques such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools.
- Apply data analytics skill sets across the three key areas of the role mentioned above (Sales support, billable time, thought leadership)
Your Background
Our Digital Commerce Analytics Analyst have the following competences:
Background and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the eCommerce industry.
- A strong understand of digital commerce, specifically B2B, B2C, Healthcare, Automotive and Retail verticals.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages like SQL, Python, R, or similar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Experience managing relationships, coalitions and communications with senior and executive level business and technology leaders to influence desired outcomes without direct authority.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of eCommerce industry trends, metrics, and best practices.
- Ability to understand how to navigate a complex organization, understand the big picture, and influence the enterprise to leverage technology in alignment with our strategies.
- Eager to deep dive into various areas of organizational, information and technology architecture
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $64,974 to $149,880. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
