Job Summary

Facilitates the set up and completion of annual budgets and forecasts for their assigned areas of the Health Care System. Serves as Finance Liaison to operations leaders for the areas they serve. Generates reasonableness review, hindsight, other analysis, and ad hoc reports for Healthcare System units as assigned. Authors and automates dashboard and scorecard reporting for both finance leadership and non-finance leadership. Demonstrates the ability to organize data from multiple disparate sources and automate KPI reporting in a simple actionable manner that is easily understood for the user (Operations or Finance). The Analyst Sr. will be responsible for making informed decisions and effectively communicating these decisions to the CFO of First Physicians Group.

Required Qualifications

- Require a bachelor's in accounting, finance, business administration, data science, or computer science. Master's degree preferred.- Require a minimum of four (4) years of prior Finance or Data Analytics experience preferably in healthcare or medical industry.- Require Strata Ad Hoc Reporter Fundamentals certification. Must be obtained within one (1) year of hire/promotion/transfer date.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prefer a strong proficiency in Excel, including design and maintenance of complex spreadsheets incorporating advanced features of the software. Including the use of pivot tables, lookup functions, and charting.- Prefer strong understanding of data modeling and relationship modeling including experience with either Tableau or PowerBI software in design of dashboards/scorecards within the application(s).- Prefer demonstrated competency in budgeting, forecasting, and analytical techniques.- Prefer the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, take initiative, work as a team member, and work under pressure.- Prefer proficiency in time management skills with the ability to prioritize a variety of duties.- Prefer demonstrated working knowledge of general and cost accounting concepts, overhead allocation, and productivity measures in healthcare setting.- Prefer professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or similar.- Prefer knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools. An understanding of star schema techniques in data modeling.
