Your daily routine would include: 

• Architect and maintain scalable data platforms using Azure (Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks) and/or on-prem solutions (Openshift, Kafka, Cloudera);

• Optimize resource provisioning for high availability and cost efficiency;

• Implement IaaC pipelines with tools like ARM templates and Terraform;

• Ensure reliable data flows and transformations with data engineering teams;

• Set up performance monitoring using Azure Monitor and other tools;

• Support regular security audits and risk assessments.

We’ll know you can make it if you have:

• Experience with Azure services and on-prem solutions (Openshift, Kafka, Cloudera);

• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell);

• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and version control (Azure DevOps, Git).

Nice to have:

• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900, DP-200/DP-201);

• Experience with large-scale data platforms, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices;

• Familiarity with data governance, MLOps, or advanced analytics.
