Your daily routine would include: 

• Ensure the smooth operation and optimization of our data lakes, maintaining data availability, accuracy, and security.

• Support data ingestion, transformation, and reporting processes.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure efficiency and reliability.

• Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to align with organizational data strategies.

• Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and industry regulations.

• Provide regular updates on system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

We’ll know you can make it if you have:

• 3+ years of experience in data platform operations, data management, or a related field;

• Experience with Shell scripting;

• Proficiency in data technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, and/or Azure Synapse;

• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data architecture;

• Good orientation in Linux environments;

• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL);

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). 

Nice to have:  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field;

• Experience with scripting languages like Python;

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams; 

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
