At Bosch Ovar, we are extending our ctrlX Configurator Team to develop web based configurators for industrial automation products in Bosch Rexroth's Automation and Electrification business unit.

With the new automation system ctrlX AUTOMATION, we overcome the classic boundaries between machine controls, the IT world, and the Internet of Things.

Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

As a member of our development team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining product configurators and product dependencies in the application ctrlX Configurator. You’ll manage ruleset for products, define the layout of the configurator and collaborate with our ctrlX Configurator platform team to enable new user feature you will:

Develop and maintain product configurators while ensuring high performance and user experience.
Design configuration models in our CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote) system to enhance automation solutions.
Optimize configurator functionalities to empower users in customizing automation solutions efficiently.
Collaborate with our ctrlX Configurator platform team to implement new user features and drive innovation.
Work closely with product management to align the roadmap for integrating new products.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

3+ years in technical roles related to industrial automation, CPQ, or software engineering.
Proven ability to understand complex software architectures and technical product structures.

Know-how:

Familiarity with industrial automation products and technical configurations.
Strong logical reasoning and a clear understanding of dependencies and rulesets.
Basic knowledge of automation solutions and software development (preferred, but not required).

Languages: Proficiency in English (spoken and written);

Working Style and Methods: Knowledge of agile processes and principles.
