Senior Data Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team and contribute to the success of our claims support business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analysis techniques and a passion for leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making around claims risk analysis.

Responsibilities

• Relevant experience with a proven track record of leveraging analytics to drive significant business impact
• Superior technical knowledge & proficiency with SQL to perform data acquisition, segmentation, and aggregation from existing data sources
• Extensive data visualization experience with cloud BI platforms
• Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint), including advanced VBA programming.
• Exceptional analytical skills and strong business acumen
• Worked with structured/unstructured data sets
• Strong analytical person who loves solving business problems using massive data sets.
• Partner with business teams to consult, provide solution to implement data solutions, KPI’s, automated reporting/process solutions and data related improvements, streamline data migration by working closely with our data engineers to meet business needs.
• Design, develop, and evaluate recurring and ad hoc reporting / dashboards in various BI platforms to drive and monitor the business and our products using best practices in data visualization and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct and hands-on experience providing solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of database technologies, data analytics, and reporting tools.
• Experience with analytic tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL etc.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
• Expertise in SQL, Python (good to have), and data visualization tools (such as Power BI) with a strong understanding of database management concepts.
• Lead data-driven projects from inception to completion, including structured and unstructured data collection, cleansing, transformation, and visualization.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and manage project scope and requirements
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
