Job purpose

        As a Supervising Associate, you will collaborate with business, reporting, and other teams to understand business requirements and perform data analysis. Get involved and Lead in project transitions from different teams, do enhancements and modification post transition when needed. You will work in more than one project with back-end data architects and systems engineers to construct data objects necessary for supporting business requirements. You will also apply specialized knowledge to support the organization’s vision and direction, serving as your team's subject matter expert.

 

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement custom Microsoft 365 solutions in Power Platform using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Bi dashboards
  • Develop and implement MS SharePoint based workflow & storage solutions
  • Train and fine-tune the solutions for optimal performance
  • Perform testing and debugging as well as assist with (UAT) User acceptance testing  
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to the MS solutions developed
  • Propose solutions to fix loopholes and bugs identified
  • Create user guides or documentation to guide users on the tools
  • Seasoned practitioner who understands business processes in significant detail
  • Ability to interpret and define complex reporting requirements and provide appropriate information to Data Domain Executive and Data Domain Lead
  • Strong knowledge of the finance, risk, and analytic reporting rules and processes associated with Accounting & General Ledger and Financial Planning & Analytics

Requirements

  • Must have at least 8+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting in descriptive and diagnostic streams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 products (Teams, SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, SQL).
  • Azure tech stack and Data Warehouse experience
  • Proficiency in AI-assisted development practices as part of the solution development toolkit.
  • A portfolio showcasing relevant projects
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical implementation and create technical documentation
  • Familiarity with machine learning, artificial intelligence and natural language processing (NLP) concepts
  • Knowledge of other programming languages/technology from Microsoft Tech Stack and/or Python
  • Customer engagement skills to uncover the value of tech-enabled solutions.
  • Collaborating with Business Architect/Analyst to design end-to-end data architecture for aligned data domains
  • Coordinating with Source, Consumer, and Reference Data Domain Lead to link business metadata (logical data definitions) to technical metadata (physical model)
  • Working with Data Domain Lead and Technology to establish authoritative data sources
  • Mapping authoritative data source for the attributes of the data domain
  • Monitoring technical design and implementation to ensure compliance with data management policy and standards
  • Responsible for providing guidance on the required data infrastructure and tooling requirements

Ideally, also have

  • Microsoft Certifications relevant to the role.
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Experience with Chatbot (Power Virtual agent) or knowledge of Python
  • Basic HTML
  • Understanding of integration technologies, APIs, and protocols
  • Experience developing/managing chatbot using virtual agent will be an asset
