Duties: Develop, enhance, and maintain analytics solutions for models and in-house cloud with large data technologies. Develop, validate and strategize use of scoring models and related policies. Apply quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods including Python and R programming, SQL, Spark to extract, transform and analyze data in a big data environment. Automate data extraction and data preprocessing tasks. Perform ad hoc data analyses, design. Maintain complex data manipulation processes. Provide documentation and presentations. Prepare statistical and non-statistical data exploration. Validate data, identify data quality issues and conduct data analysis, data mining. Read and create formal statistical documentation, reports and work with Technology to address issues. Use Predictive modeling methods, optimize monitoring systems, document optimization solutions, and present results to non-technical audiences. Write formal documentation using statistical vocabulary. Generate statistical models to improve methods of obtaining and evaluating quantitative and qualitative data and identify relationships and trends in data and factors affecting research results. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Analytics, or related field and 2 years of experience as a Quantitative Developer/Analyst, Data Analyst, Capital & Liquidity Management Specialist, Market Control Specialist, Consultant or related position involving conducting risk analysis for the financial services industry. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Full term of experience must include: Data analytics; Python, R, SQL, Spark, Cloud, Git; Risk management; Econometrics and statistics; Mathematical finance; Micro-strategy visualization tools; and Data migration.
