Job Title: Data Analyst, Associate

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time

Location: Warsaw, Poland

Work Pattern: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home

Department: Data, Analytics and Reporting Team

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of Data-Driven transformation of one of the top global financial players of alternative asset management and private equity.

Summary of our opportunity

As a Data Analyst, you will support ICG’s Data Strategy on the global level. Your job will be to leverage the power of data to drive business growth and success. You will work closely with stakeholders across the whole organization to support design, development and implementation of data management solutions tailored to their specific needs as a Data Analyst in Data, Analytics and Reporting Team based in Warsaw, Poland.

Primary Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collecting business data requirements with regard to objectives, user experience and data availability

  • Identify and document different data types/sets

  • Produce data models according to specific problem statements.

  • Automating data collection processes to ensure time and resource efficiencies.

  • Performing data extraction and cleansing across multiple data domains.

  • Ensuring data quality - identifying data issues and designing solutions.

  • Creation of Data Quality Dashboards to ensure data quality for reporting and analytics.

  • Interpreting internal stakeholders needs to turn them into functional requirements.

  • Mapping appropriate data for usage in new or existing solutions as well as for on-going data activities.

  • Developing data quality best practice guidelines and creating relevant documentation.

  • Sharing best practices across organization.

  • Measuring and reporting to management on the progress of data quality improvement.

  • Cooperating closely with IT throughout all operations.

  • Support Head of Data Management in day-to-day implementation of Data Governance Framework

Key Requirements/ Qualifications

You will have demonstrable experience of: 

Essential

  • 2-5 years as a Master Data Analyst / Data Analyst / Financial Reporting Analyst

  • Experience in data management/control/governance and/or business analysis

  • Understanding concept of controls, master data, system flows, processes or/and data models

  • Financial Services experience, preferably within Private Equity/Debt

  • Ability to write clear and structured technical documents – experience with Confluence is a plus

  • Ability to participate in both technical and business meetings

  • Excellent English both written and spoken

  • A can-do attitude

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Desirable

  • Financial Certification/Degree is considered a significant advantage

  • Knowledge of Power BI and report design, SQL

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform – Power Apps, Power Automate

  • Other programming skills/experience like Python, or other

  • A bachelor’s/master’s degree in a relevant field
