The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Team:

RTX has an opening for a Senior Manager, ERP Source to Pay (S2P) Data Lead (Sr. Manager, Business Systems and Transformation).

This role will provide strategic oversight to the Global Blueprinting activities associated with the RTX wide ERP program and focused on Operations, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Procurement, Supplier Management, Compliance, and Accounts Payable (Source to Pay) processes.

Across RTX there are a variety of business processes and software platforms that support the flow of information from our customers to our factories to our suppliers and enable our ability to report and analyze our collective performance.  This combination of process and tools is commonly called an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.  In support of the future of RTX the enterprise has begun an ERP transformation journey to optimize processes, enable data strategy, and implement a common approach to our next generation ERP software – SAP S4/HANA.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide guidance and support to Global Blueprinting activities.
  • Develop partnership with the Process & Systems Transformation workstreams and the Business Units Functional organizations on data strategy, data migration, and data cleansing approaches specific to Source to Pay
  • Participate in pathfinder/proof of concept activities.
  • Evaluate the data and analytics business value and use cases associated with the ERP program and defining the execution strategy (roadmap) to achieve the value
  • Participate in the evaluation, recommendation, and deployment of data cleansing/migration enabling technologies.
  • Partner with the functional and workstream leads to ensure data and data strategy is contemplated in future state processes.
  • Participate in/lead enterprise-wide process events utilizing the CORE framework and tools.
  • Participate in other related operations and supply chain analysis and/or projects.
  • Travel required ~ 20-50%, will fluctuate throughout the project contingent on project phase and activities.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in data strategy, analytics, reporting and data models and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced degree and 8+ years’ related work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Preferably a Core Expert
  • Experience working in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain organizations
  • Strong knowledge of SAP including interface functionality and MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and other analytical tools
  • Current U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Ability to initially Travel 25-50%
  • Working experience with SAP S4 HANA and Business Partner
  • Experience with Process Integration Partners
  • Understanding of Agile Methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies; Core Expert

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
