MAIN PURPOSE OF INTERNSHIP

We are seeking talented individuals who are excited about working in a face paced environment, who want to learn new skills and who aren't afraid to tackle big projects. As an intern with us, you will get to work with a variety of our staff, while working on real projects that will help us grow and you develop.

Interns and entry-level employees supporting business operations under supervision and mentorship of a dedicated sponsor. You will be working in an incredibly fast moving business, and have the opportunity to make valuable contributions and at the same time developing broad skills and experience in a commercial setting gained through the internship.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

We are seeking a motivated and talented Data Science Intern to join our Data Analytics team. This role offers hands-on experience working on real-world projects, utilizing advanced data science techniques, and contributing to impactful business decisions. As a Data Science Intern, you will collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders to support critical data-driven initiatives.

MAIN DUTIES

The following is a non-exhaustive list of responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing predictive models for forecasting business metrics like revenue, demand, and customer behavior.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling to uncover actionable insights.
  • Support A/B testing and other experimental designs to validate business hypotheses.
  • Collaborate with the Data Operations Engineering team to ensure data quality and accessibility for analytical use.
  • Create and present clear data visualizations to communicate complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about advancements in data science techniques and tools to bring innovative solutions to the team.

REQUIREMENTS

Education Level

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) techniques and tools.
  • Experience or coursework in experimental design and statistical hypothesis testing.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and big data tools (e.g., AWS, GCP, Spark).
