The Risk Technology Team is organised and empowered to support the technology needs for the following lines of business/risk classes:

- Operational & Compliance Risk IT

- Credit Risk IT

- Portfolio & Market Risk IT

- Strategy & Optimisation Risk IT

You will be joining the Risk IT as we embark on their journey to build & implement Credit Risk Models.
 

You will provide technology expertise, input and decision guidance in order to drive excellence, quality and performance for current and emerging IT services within the Risk Platform.
 

We’re interested in hearing from people who:

• Have hands-on experience in implementation of APIs using REST & SOAP methods.

• Can own the end-to-end software engineering cycle from partnering with business for requirements, designing solutions, influencing decision making on which technologies to be used, building, deploying and maintaining software solutions

• Hands-on expertise in API integration, Python, R-programming

• Demonstrates advanced proficiency in Swagger API Spec building

• Solid understanding of Gateway Configuration, AWS Sagemaker Implementation

• Are knowledgeable about Credit Models.

• Understand OAuth Authentication and its implementation on identity provider systems.

• Are comfortable across the future direction of software engineering including DevSecOps, AI, Machine learning and how the right technologies can offer the best customer experiences.

• Pride themselves with experience on design & implementation of ML Data pipelines

• Have solid hands-on experience in design and development of Big Data and data warehouse applications utilising Hadoop and Big Data technologies.

Tech skills

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but our Senior Software Engineer should have diversified strengths and broad range of skillsets.

• Proven technical analysis experience.

• Solid technical background in building and designing data integration, microservices and workflow automation on cloud platforms using AWS

• Thorough understanding of large-scale distributed systems, solution design and architecture principles

• Expertise in setting up DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, logging and monitoring tools (TeamCity, Octopus, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Artifactory)

• Ability to design solutions to meet the highest possible quality standards while simultaneously balancing security, performance, availability, and maintainability concerns.

• Hadoop/Teradata platform using Spark & various ETL frameworks is highly desirable.

• Banking and financial services experience in a complex environment preferred
