Reporting to the Director in ICS, this role is expected to lead data analytics efforts that aim to improve the company’s ability to detect, deter, and prevent financial crimes. The resource shall advocate the use of analytics to support Compliance business and recommend sound and innovative solution.

The Data Analytics Manager shall directly manage a dedicated data integrity team supporting AML Compliance Testing globally, in enhancing their methodology, techniques, and in developing tools for effective testing of AML controls.

The resource will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of segments and business units in the Company and gain general knowledge of products, business processes, and risks.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Leadership and Management: Ability to lead and manage a team, set strategic goals, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and present findings.

  • Analytical Thinking: High-level analytical skills to oversee complex data projects and make strategic decisions.

  • Project Management: Experience in managing projects, timelines, and resources effectively.

  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing data to generate insights and support decision-making.

  • SQL: Knowledge of SQL for querying databases and extracting data.

  • Data Visualization: Ability to create visualizations to communicate insights effectively.

  • ETL Processes: Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to integrate data from various sources.

You will stand out if you have:

  • Knowledge of financial services/insurance operations and products is a plus.

  • Familiarity of AML systems and tools such as Bridger and FCRM, is an advantage.

  • Bachelor of science in relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, etc.)

  • Proven experience as BI/Data Analyst or analytics role with at least 5 years relevant experience.

On the job you will:

Lead Data Analytics Efforts:

  • Drive BI Strategy : Advocate for the use of analytics to support Compliance business functions.
  • Recommend innovative solutions to improve data quality and integrity.

Manage AML Data Integrity Team:

  • Directly manage a dedicated data integrity team responsible for supporting AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Compliance Testing on a global scale.
  • Collaborate with the Testing Team to enhance the team's methodology, techniques, and tools for effective testing of AML controls.
  • Implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor and assess data quality metrics and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
  • Conduct regular data audits and validation processes.

Collaborate with Stakeholders:

  • Work closely with various business units to understand their data requirements and compliance needs.
  • Communicate data quality issues and solutions to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Provide training and support to staff on data quality best practices.
  • Ensure data testing methodologies applied are aligned with global data governance, while taking into consideration different requirements for markets within the Segment.
  • Collaborate with ICS AML Compliance Testing Team and the Audit Team during key risk audit engagements to mitigate risks effectively.

Ensure Data Quality:

  • Analyzes high complexity datasets to identify outliers, anomalies, patterns, or other compliance indicators that may pose risk to the company and communicates these analyses to management for action planning.
  • Monitor and assess data quality metrics and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
  • Conduct regular data audits and validation processes.

Compliance Reporting:

  • Prepare and present data quality reports and dashboards to management.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data quality processes and procedures.
  • Seek opportunities to improve testing efficiency, analytics, and controls related to Compliance testing.
