Engineer and Technical Lead, Senior

On our team, you’ll manage development and integration efforts for cross-functional software development teams. You will also track and validate adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and develop associated contract deliverables. You know the real power of project management comes from communication. You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience as a software or technical project manager 

  • 5+ years of experience with solutions architecture, enterprise architecture, or technical lead executing in Agile methodologies

  • Experience coordinating and managing development team activities across the program, workstream, or project and developing requirements

  • Experience ensuring timely delivery of reliable technologies, capabilities, and tools in accordance with approved client requirements

  • Experience in a flexible, fast-paced environment interacting with IT executives, business product owners, developers, and functional managers to define strategy and scope projects by providing insight into the latest trends, technologies, and capabilities available

  • Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, data warehouses, and AI or ML technologies and solutions

  • Knowledge of the enterprise technology sector, including lightweight solutions architecture, the function of what basic components of an enterprise big-data solution do, and how they work together to produce a working information system

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience as a software or technical project manager, or 9+ years of experience as a software or technical project manager in lieu of a degree

  • DoD 8570 Certification such as CompTIA Security+

  

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience as a Scrum Master, Lead Architect, or Lead Business Analyst 

  • Experience leading technical teams in the implementation of enterprise applications 

  • Experience with backend web languages, including Python, Node, PHP, or Ruby  

  • Experience with server-side application development using Java or C# 

  • Experience with Release Management 

  • Experience with the DoD or intelligence community

  • Experience with Business Process Improvement or Reengineering 

  • Knowledge of DevSecOps releases and technologies 

  • Ability to identify risks proactively, recommend mitigating actions, and drive them to resolution

  • PMP and Agile Certification 

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
