Job Summary

*This ten-week paid internship is located in Chicago, IL*

What are your responsibilities?

This position is within the Medicare Innovation Analytics team, focusing on end-to-end sales operations and analytics. The role involves managing comprehensive sales funnel activities, including collaborating with the Marketing Team on upper-funnel campaign performance analysis, developing and executing broker engagement strategies, and overseeing partnerships with call center and digital vendors.

As a Senior Analytics Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience with sales strategy development, data analytics, and business process optimization. You'll help implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance our systems and solutions for clients and members. Working directly with cross-functional teams, you'll learn and contribute to key business processes, programs, and technology implementations.

This position will also be responsible for:

  • Complying with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies. 
  • Maintaining complete confidentiality of company business.
  • Maintaining communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned.
  • responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.
  • Creating a final internship PowerPoint presentation to share with department leadership covering the internship experience, the assigned project over the course of the summer, including the results along with any solutions or recommendations that can be leveraged by the department in the future.

What Do You Need to Be Successful?

  • Basic knowledge of programing languages (R, SQL, Python, Scala, VBA etc.) is strong preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relational database concepts is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and concepts – Tableau, Power BI and Microsoft Suite strong preferred
  • Analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills is a plus.
  • Innovative, creative, and out-of-the-box thinking is a plus.
  • Passion for data, analytics, problem solving, and process improvement.
  • Ability to self-motivate, remain organized, and receive direction well.
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion and desire to learn the ins and outs of the health care industry.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality.
  • Practical, developed PC skills, especially Excel, Word, and Access.

What Are the Requirements You Must Meet?

  • Pursuing a master’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Business, Other degrees or related fields with comparable programming experience may be considered.
  • Graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Availability to work 10 weeks during the summer (June 2025 – August 2025).
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States (currently, we are not offering this program under OPT or CPT and are not sponsoring work visas for this role)

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
