Lounge by Zalando is an online shopping club for fashion and lifestyle products. We offer our members daily, time-limited sale campaigns with discounts of up to 75% off the recommended retail price. We aim to connect with millions of members across 17 European markets, inviting them to engage in an exciting treasure hunt.

We're seeking an exceptional Principal Product Manager to lead the development of our next-generation commercial intelligence platform. In this role, you'll drive the vision and execution of an AI-powered system that transforms how we make business decisions across our e-commerce operations. You'll work at the intersection of applied science, technology, and commercial teams to deliver measurable business impact.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

Problem Discovery & Strategy:

• Lead discovery and validation of high-impact commercial decisions suitable for algorithmic optimization

• Transform complex business problems into clear product requirements for our applied science teams

• Own the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives

• Drive prioritization across multiple stakeholder groups and technical workstreams

Stakeholder Management & Delivery:

• Build strong partnerships across commercial and technology teams

• Facilitate effective collaboration between applied science teams and business stakeholders

• Drive the progressive rollout of platform capabilities across different business areas

• Ensure smooth adoption and value realization for all stakeholder groups

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF....   

• You have 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focusing on AI/ML products or platforms.

• You have a proven track record of launching successful B2B software products that drive measurable business impact.

• You have a strong foundation in data science and machine learning concepts, particularly in optimization and decision systems.

• You have experience with commercial optimization problems (e.g., pricing, inventory management, or forecasting).

• You have excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics.

• You have a track record of breaking down complex technical concepts for business audiences.

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
