Data Analyst

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Pricing and data play a pivotal role throughout all aspects of the business, from the obvious department of sales & account management through to customer experience and customer satisfaction. We are looking to further develop the focus on pricing through the introduction of the role of Data Analyst

• Leading comprehensive data analysis of varying portfolios (profitability, portfolio management opportunities etc) & presenting findings to senior management
• Supporting sales teams where required through negotiations providing confident external explanations on pricing mechanisms
• Taking ownership of processes supporting sales teams with price positioning
• Supporting the transition to SMART pricing & strategic pricing management through new analysis techniques & maintaining new tools
• Managing complex datasets & adding value through data manipulation
• Ownership of contractual price indexation, ensuring price adjustments are applied accordingly through an efficient process
• Opportunity for focused project management work, driving key changes to current processes that directly & indirectly impacting pricing
• Data support to ALign project as required

• Strong business acumen & commercially astute
• Good attention to detail, especially when reviewing large data sets
• Analytical mindset, commercially astute with a good business acumen
• High level of confidence with Excel/Google Sheets, namely vlookups/index match functions, pivot tables, nested IF formulas etc
• Confident communicator with stakeholders across all levels and departments
• Strong willingness to learn in a fast paced environment
• Experience in a strategic/commercial position is required
• Continuous improvement experience is advantageous
