What you’ll achieve 

As a Power Firmware Engineer Summer Intern, you will learn design, document and functionally validate mechanical components and assemblies, as well as to participate in engineering review and tests to validate the robustness of Power Supply Unit (PSU) design and proper performance of PSU new products. 

You will

• Drive the innovative power supply firmware solutions for server, storage and networking systems 

• Provide constructive feedback on project technical discussion as well as new patent mining 

• Design, document and monitor the validation and qualification of components to achieve the best quality in the world for Dell product 

• Ensures all deliverables are met per program schedules 

• Interfaces with suppliers and cross-function teams engagement along with development teams to ensure the success of power supply development and Dell server infrastructure systems

Essential Requirements

• Hold active student identity and can fully attend the internship between 2025/6/24 to 2025/8/15 

• Enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Electrical Engineering and will graduate in 2025/2026  

• Good understanding of Electrical or Electronics Engineering in analog and digital circuitry firmware design especially in Power application field; experience of using CAD, MATLAB, SPICE and allegro will be plus 

• Good understanding of Electrical and/or Electronics engineering; with the knowledge of x86 system will be plus 

• Prior experience of study in embedded system design using micro-controllers, analog and digital system design; and knowledge of the scripting language like C/C++, Assembly, Python, LabVIEW, and/or Linux programing 

Desirable Requirements

• Good communication and presentation skills 

• Fluency in English
