Thermal Performance Engineer-Intern

Job Details:

Job Description: 

• Assist in validating the thermal performance of PCs.
• Support battery life validation on PCs.
• Conduct power, thermal, and performance validation under AI workloads, including the impact of Microsoft Copilot.
• Perform data analysis on generation-over-generation power, thermal, and performance metrics.
• This is a 1-year internship.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirement:

• Master/PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation Engineering or any related dicipline
• Knowledge or experience in Python
• Familiar with Excel and PowerPoint
• Good attitude, capable of working together and interact with engineers and team members.

Prefer to have:

• Experience or exposure in data analysis will be highly prefer
• Experience in Linux OS environment will be a big plus.
• Knowledge or experience in Power Bi, mySQL, AWS or any related will be a big plus
• Experience or knowledge in Macro will be nice to have.
• Exposure in AI, machine learning or deep learning will be a plus point.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin to support regional and global stakeholders.
• Experience in project/program management as a team lead or team member is a big plus.
• Good understanding of computer architecture, Intel platforms including board design product specs.
• Good understanding of firmware and software and how they interact with and relate to the hardware.
• Experience in developing software applications will be a big plus.
