Group Product Manager, Recommendations (Tinder LLC (f/k/a Match Group LLC), West Hollywood, CA)

Drive innovation, definition, roadmap, and design of experiments for core recommendations and machine learning (ML) on Tinder to accelerate the growth of Tinder’s active members and paid members. Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to advise the team in setting goals, success metrics, and roadmaps by aligning them with the company's mission to help drive maximum impact for the company’s business while also aligning those goals with various stakeholders for the Recommendations team. Work to better understand Tinder user problems, business priorities and opportunities to help build out better ML models, infrastructure and recommendations.
Understand the company’s business metrics that impact performance that are related to the Tinder ecosystem and guide the teams to develop a more profound product sense for what makes members more successful on Tinder while balancing revenue. Plan and prioritize projects based on member impact, business needs and available resources. Align the needs and priorities of features requested from teams to ensure proper vision and deliverability of the team. Champion a balanced product development process that promotes passion and team pride and incentivizes the right behaviors that ensure the company’s vision is reached and build an innovative and expansive culture that cultivates empowerment, growth, and collaboration. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to 8800 Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069.Salary: $226,500 - $235,000 per year.
 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Technology Management, or a related field, plus 7 years of professional experience as Product Manager, Project Manager, or any occupation/position/job title involving product management. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Technology Management, or a related field or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as Product Manager, Project Manager, or any occupation/position/job title involving product management. Must also have experience in the following: 5 years of professional experience with product management including leading and collaborating with the design, analytics, and development teams across web and apps; 5 years of professional experience analyzing data to drive decisions and using data management and query platforms (including Excel, Tableau, Mode, or Advanced Analytical SQL) to find necessary data and design/ideation tools (Figma, Sketch, Figjam, or Miro); 5 years of professional experience assessing the impact of a feature on end-users and the platform through methods including user research, prototyping, focus groups, experimentation, and beta-testing; 5 years of professional experience driving the development of UX design for business to consumer products producing wireframes and mockups and working collaboratively with UX design to create hi-fi designs and prototypes; 5 years of professional experience defining metrics and making product and strategic decisions based on A/B testing or qualitative feedback; 5 years of professional experience conceptualizing and managing direct consumer-facing features/products (Business to Consumer) built on iOS and Android for a global tech company; and 3 years of professional experience managing product and design professionals. CONTACT: Send resume to: Lauren.Lozano@match.com.
