AI Project Manager

The AI Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of AI/ Machine Learning (ML) projects. This role requires a unique blend of technical understanding, strong project management skills, and a keen business acumen. The ideal candidate will possess meticulous attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

• Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Track project progress, identify and resolve roadblocks, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, product managers, business analysts) to ensure project alignment and successful execution.

Technical Understanding:

• Gain a foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts, technologies, and methodologies.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with data scientists and engineers in the development and deployment of AI/ML models.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of AI/ML models, including data quality, model performance, and ethical considerations.

Stakeholder Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and end-users.
• Effectively communicate project status, risks, and challenges to stakeholders at all levels.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Business Acumen:

• Understand the business value of AI/ML projects and how they align with organizational goals.
• Analyze data and market trends to identify opportunities for AI/ML applications.
• Identify and quantify the potential return on investment (ROI) of AI/ML projects.

Quality Assurance & Risk Management:

• Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of AI/ML models.
• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of AI/ML models before deployment.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and industry best practices.
• Continuously improve project management methodologies and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the AI/ML team.

Qualifications:

• Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written English.
• Education: Bachelor's in CS, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years in project management, with AI/ML experience preferred.
• Project Delivery: Proven success in delivering complex projects on time and budget.
• Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and project management tools (Jira, Asana).
• Communication: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical & problem-solving with meticulous attention to detail.
• Teamwork: Ability to work independently & as part of a high-performing team.
• Business Acumen: Strong understanding of AI/ML & its business value.
• Technical Skills: Experience with data analysis & visualization tools (a plus).
• Ethics: Familiarity with ethical considerations in AI/ML development.
• Technical Setup: Own a PC/laptop and have a stable internet connection (min. 20 Mbps).
