Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile professional who combines expertise in computer science, data science, and microelectronics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in printed circuit card manufacturing, firmware development, and data analysis using languages such as R, Python, and SQL. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in Microsoft products that support data analytics, including Power BI, SharePoint, MS Forms, and Power Automate. Experience with system architecture using SysML is also required. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and analyzing complex systems, as well as extracting insights from large datasets to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of printed circuit cards and firmware for microelectronic systems
  • Analyze and optimize system performance using data analytics and machine learning techniques
  • Develop and maintain databases to store and manage large datasets
  • Create data visualizations and reports using Power BI, SharePoint, and other Microsoft tools
  • Develop and implement automated workflows using Power Automate
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data analytics and microelectronic systems
  • Develop and track key metrics to measure the success of microelectronic system development, data analytics, and process improvement efforts, such as:
  • System performance metrics (e.g. latency, throughput, reliability)
  • Data quality metrics (e.g. accuracy, completeness, consistency)
  • Process efficiency metrics (e.g. cycle time, throughput, yield)
  • Return on investment (ROI) and cost savings metrics
  • Use data-driven insights to inform business decisions and drive process improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in microelectronics, data science, and computer science

Technical Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science
  • Strong knowledge of microelectronics, including printed circuit card manufacturing, firmware development and testing
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, and SQL
  • Experience with data analytics and machine learning techniques
  • Strong understanding of database concepts and data modeling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products, including:
  • Power BI for data visualization and reporting
  • SharePoint for collaboration and content management
  • MS Forms for data collection and survey design
  • Power Automate for workflow automation
  • Strong understanding of database concepts and data modeling
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

  • Strong understanding of database concepts and data modeling
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Azure or AWS
  • Experience with system architecture using SysML
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and version control systems
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Experience with natural language processing or other advanced data science techniques
  • Experience with metrics development and data-driven decision making
