Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Supply Chain / Data Analyst who combines technical expertise with a collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset. This role requires a candidate with advanced Excel skills, the ability to analyze complex data, and the interpersonal aptitude to work seamlessly across departments. The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will be instrumental in developing predictive forecasting models based on patient appointment data, standard supply needs, and historical trends. By leveraging data and fostering strong interdepartmental relationships, this individual will enable smarter decision-making and contribute to the overall efficiency of our supply chain.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Develop predictive forecasting models using advanced Excel functions and other tools, aligning inventory and supply needs with expected patient appointments and historical consumption trends.
•    Collaborate closely with departments such as operations, procurement, and finance to gather insights, align goals, and implement effective forecasting and supply strategies.
•    Analyze large data sets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvements, ensuring optimal inventory levels and reduced waste.
•    Leverage advanced Excel techniques such as Power Query, PivotTables, INDEX/MATCH, and VBA to create automated, dynamic, and user-friendly dashboards and reports for supply chain performance metrics.
•    Present complex data and analysis in a clear and impactful manner to stakeholders, ensuring actionable insights are communicated effectively.
•    Proactively engage with internal stakeholders to understand evolving needs and build tailored supply solutions that meet the demands of orthodontic practices.
•    Drive cost-saving initiatives by analyzing supplier contracts, lead times, and pricing structures, negotiating for the best outcomes while maintaining quality standards.
•    Serve as a mentor and subject matter expert within the team, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•    Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as Power Query, PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and VBA for creating sophisticated models and tools.
•    Proven experience in predictive modeling and forecasting, particularly related to inventory management and demand planning.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments and influence decision-making effectively.
•    Analytical mindset with an exceptional ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
•    Familiarity with additional tools such as Power BI, SQL, or ERP systems is highly desirable.
•    Knowledge of orthodontic or healthcare supply needs and trends is an advantage.

Minimum Qualifications – (Education, Experience, Certification, & Licensure):

•    Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) are preferred.
•    At least 5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, with a focus on forecasting and data-driven decision-making. Healthcare or orthodontics experience is a plus.
