Job Description:
The Senior Data Analyst at SumnerOne will play an important role in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and optimize business operations. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will analyze complex datasets, develop insights, and provide actionable recommendations that align with our mission to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions. Your expertise in advanced analytics and visualization will support cross-functional teams, empowering them to achieve organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support SumnerOne's strategic objectives
- Design and implement advanced statistical models and predictive analytics to address business challenges
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate insights effectively to key stakeholders
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive results
- Lead data-driven initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with SumnerOne’s goals and objectives
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, and integration from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy
- Monitor data quality and consistency, implementing processes to enhance reporting reliability
- Mentor and support junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in data analytics to continuously improve SumnerOne’s capabilities
- Present findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively to leadership and other stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and modeling
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision-making
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Proven ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience managing large datasets and working with data warehousing solutions
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery of results
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with data analytics in industries relevant to SumnerOne’s operations (e.g., managed services, technology solutions)
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their practical applications
- Understanding of data governance and data quality management practices
- Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)

- Job Type: Full Time (M-F)

The anticipated base salary for this position is expected to be within a fair market range and ideally within the salary range below. Your actual base pay will depend on your geographic location, as well as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
