The Highlights: We seek graduate students (who have completed at least one year in their program) or recent graduates of the MS in Business Analytics or MS in Data Science program to work as part-time research assistants. This position offers hands-on experience in AI model development, computer programming, and data processing/analysis. The role is ideal for students looking to apply their analytical and technical skills to real-world research projects.
 

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct data preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation for analysis 
  • Perform statistical analysis (e.g., regression, classification, and clustering methods) and machine learning experiments using R/Python programming 
  • Support the documentation of research methodologies and findings in collaboration with faculty and research team members 

 

What You'll Need:
  • Graduate students (who have completed at least one year in their program) or recent graduates of MS in Business Analytics or Data Science programs
  • Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or R.
  • Experience with machine learning and data processing techniques.
  • Knowledge of community pharmacy operations is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Simulation modeling with Anylogic is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

The anticipated hiring range for this position is: $18.00 per hour.  The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
