We are looking for a Senior IT Developer to manage and support Data Governance and AI/ML application.

What you’ll be doing
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Day-to-day operational support for IBM Cloud Pack for Data environments, including monitoring, troubleshooting & performance tuning
- Manage and configure Cloud pack for Data components such as DataStage, Data Virtualization and other integrated tools within the platform
- Ensure high availability and reliability of the services ,assisting with scaling, patching and upgrading systems as needed
- Conduct routine system health checks, backups and disaster recovery tests
- Support data integration and ETL processes as well as manage data pipelines integrated with IBM Cloud Pack for Data Framework
- Proactive and effective tenant support utilizing the platform
- Monitoring system logs and generate performance reports to proactively identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure efficient data processing, storage and retrieval (Integration with Hadoop Ecosystem)
Who you are
This is the right role for you if you:
- Collaborate with the Application Owners & Provider and support them in doing the right things
- Become the subject matter expert around Data Governance along with IBM Cloud Pak for Data and AI & Machine Learning application
- Facilitate different kinds of application management processes e.g. work with risk management process to ensure we manage our risks in a pro-active and structured manner (RATIS)
- Have an expereince with application assessments (e.g. compliancy checks)
- Were respisible for annual budgeting
- Drive and coordinate different ad-hoc initiatives and projects that arise around our application landscape
Your background and skills include:
- Experience with data governance and security practices in the context of Cloud pak for Data
- Familiarity with AI/ML workloads and their integration within the Cloud Pak for Data ecosystem
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Familiarty with containerization and orchestration technologies as Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Experience with automation and scripting (eg. Python, Bash, Powershell)
- Experience with database management and data warehousing concepts
- Experience working with Hadoop ecosystem
It would be ideal if you also have:
- Fluency in English
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience working with IT applications / product management
Experience in having worked with big data technologies or analytics space in an agile environment is considered as an advantage.
