Database Quality Assurance, DQA is an important group in LSEG responsible for Quality Assurance with team in Bangalore, India.  Working for this team will challenge you to utilise your technical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills to identify errors and problems in a variety of financial information databases and products.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of Real Time Financial Contents like “FI T&C and FIFXMM.
• Knowledge of Commodities will be an advantage.
• Deep understanding of different database like EJV, NDA and Real Time Systems etc.
• Ability to handle complexity and think logically with incredible attention to detail.
• This position will apply sophisticated analytical and problem-solving techniques to lead project teams to develop and implement quality process and improvement. This position will also be responsible for working with division partners within the organization to coordinate activities as they relate to processes and operating models.
• 5+ years of experience in operations teams in which 2+ years industry experience in areas such as automation using advaSQL. Ability to write, read, edit modify python codes will be an add advantage.
• Ability to create metrics which can measure the client experience of using our content by designing Accuracy, Completeness, Timeliness and other forms of metrics.
• Deep understanding of Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ability to supervise down complex data quality and data integration issues, evaluate different algorithmic approaches, and analyze data to tackle problems. Curiosity about the details of datasets is crucial.
• Lead senior level stakeholder engagements internally and externally to discover problems and use cases as well as to translate business impact of on-going and completed projects.
• Take complete ownership of projects and drive it to conclusion circumventing any obstacles being encountered.
• High level of confidence in communicating with senior business and technical leaders internally and externally

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for design, execution and maintenance of quality system processes at respective departments.
• Drive projects from start to end and support maintenance.
• Working with highly technical team members to articulate and get the project completed.
• Handle all level stakeholder engagements to discover problems and use cases as well as to translate business impact of on-going and completed projects.
• Becoming an authority at certain content specific domains of knowledge and tools/techniques like SQL and Power BI.
• Able to quickly spot more subtle errors in data and analyses.
• Ensures that results are reproducible, accurate and actionable.

Knowledge & Skill

• Complete understanding of the data flow in content databases and product especially in FI T&C and CORAX content sets.
• Solid relational database skills and SQL expertise and Power BI.
• Strong written, communication and presentation skills. Able to respond and present work to peers, stakeholders, clients and answer in-depth questions, accept constructive feedback, and modify work product accordingly.
• Positive demeanor to learning new skills and technologies

Desirable skills

• Knowledge of FI T&C and FIFXMM content sets.
• Advance SQL Knowledge is required.
• Data Visualization using Power BI.
• Python experience.
