Marketing BI Analyst, Principal, Sr

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work across a variety of Marketing Leader stakeholders to establish a clear taxonomy and data dictionary for our various departmental KPIs
• Liaise with our Business Intelligence, Business Operations, and Marketing Technology teams to understand how to interpret certain system fields and document the mapping logic
• Understand and put into practice building visual data displays to best answer key business questions
• Develop, test, and deploy ad-hoc reports and standard dashboards in Salesforce CRM, Tableau, and Google Analytics
• Lead complex data transformation projects
• Document reporting standards and educate stakeholders on how to self-serve data
• Conduct in-depth analysis and provide recommendations for ad-hoc requests
• Recommend strategies to enhance CRM data quality and work with Marketing teams to develop a data acquisition strategy
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members on new processes and best practices
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new ways to structure KPIs

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong strategic thinker with thorough business acumen
• Strong data visualization skills
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of Salesforce CRM data objects, including pipeline analysis
• Ability to map large data sets into a common structure
• Ability to interpret data into insights for decision making
• Analytics using R or Python or similar tools is nice to have

Qualifications:

• 10+ years applicable work experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
• 5+ years applicable experience in SQL and Tableau
• 5+ years applicable experience in SFDC and Marketing or Sales data and analysis
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)

Range:

Minimum: $80,000.00 USD Maximum: $180,000.00 USD
