About the role: 

As our new AI Development & AI Hub Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our AI transformation, responsible for developing and delivering our flagship AI initiatives aiming at increasing productivity, reducing cost, and streamlining revenue. Your role will be central in building the bridge between innovative technology and everyday application, and you’ll collaborate across departments, to ensure our teams are equipped and confident in leveraging AI solutions.  

As part of a cross-functional team, you’ll work closely with key stakeholders to deliver innovative, practical solutions. Our agile approach ensures that every project is hands-on, relevant and focused on real business needs. You’ll be a part of building AI applications that are scalable, impactful, and tailored to Husqvarna’s specific challenges. 

What You’ll Do: 

AI Hub Manager: 

• Act as a single point of contact and AI Hub Manager for the Enterprise AI team members based in India. 

• As AI Hub Manager, lead and manage a team of data scientists and AI cloud experts in India in close collaboration with management team in Sweden. 

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, while supporting delivery leads of individual initiatives responsible for achieving project outcomes. 

• Leading and inspiring high-performing teams, driving organizational change, and shaping the culture and growth of a global team through continuous mentorship and development programs  

AI Development Manager 

• As AI Development Manager, lead and manage a team of delivery leads based in both India and Sweden and oversee end-to-end project delivery for our flagship AI initiatives. 

• Collaborate with leadership team of Enterprise AI organization to ensure seamless way of working and growth of the team. 

• Ensure successful projects delivery, including pre-study/exploration, planning, execution, deployment, and closeout. 

• Develop and implement project management methodologies and best practices. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior business leadership, to align project goals with business objectives. 

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. 

• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced AI Hub Manager to take ownership of culture building within our global teams. This role is pivotal in fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing environment. The ideal candidate is a proven culture builder, a people person, and a visionary leader who thrives in shaping and nurturing team dynamics.

Your Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in end-to-end development and delivery of data and AI projects. 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in people management, ideally teams of cloud experts / data scientist. 

• Recognized for effectively making collaborative decisions, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow-through with outstanding verbal and written communication skills. 

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools with a special emphasis on agile frameworks such as scrum. 

• Proficiency in AI/ML technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). 

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. 

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. 

• Proven experience in culture building and team development within a global organization. Demonstrated success in creating and sustaining a positive workplace culture. 

• Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Finance, Economy or a related field. 

• Several years of experience in project management, with a focus on AI and data science projects. 

• Experience leading and collaborating on cross-functional projects to build digital products and address concerns in a collaborative and timely fashion.

Location:  Locations for this position is in Mumbai, India. 

But, with our hybrid working environment, you'll have the flexibility to work both onsite and remotely, promoting work-life balance for all team members. We meet in the office at least 2-3 days a week (50%).
