Position Summary

  • Build high-performing data processing frameworks leveraging Google Cloud Platform and utilizing GCP Services like Big Query, Python, Composer,  Dataflow, GKE,  Pub-Sub, Cloud Monitoring  
  • Build Data Quality frameworks to ensure the data consumed is accurate before it is used across various frameworks.
  • Build state-of-the-art data pipelines supporting both batch and real-time streams to enable data collection, storage, processing, transformation, aggregation, and dissemination through heterogeneous channels. .
  • Develop proof of concepts for batch/real-time data engineering solutions that leverage emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • 0-3 years experience on Cloud architecture & tools in designing & optimizing processes.
  • 0-3 years of experience working in an Agile-based development environment and using Agile concepts such as Continuous Integration (CI/CD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • 0-3 years hands on experience on one or more programing languages such as Python, SQL, Java
  • 0-3 years with internal systems and products to consult and advise on additional efforts across multiple domains spanning broader enterprise. Collaborates with client team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into highly available, production systems.
  • 0-3 years experience Integrating data from a variety of sources, assuring that they adhere to data quality and accessibility standards. Experiments with available tools and advises on new tools in order to determine optimal solution given the requirements dictated by the model/use case.
  • 0-3 years writing ETL (Extract / Transform / Load) processes, designing database systems and developing tools for analytic processing
  • 0-3 years collaborating with stake holders to transform data and integrate with other systems leveraging automated processes


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using tools like BigQuery, Cloud
  • Composer, Dataproc and Dataflow. (Similar experience with AWS or Azure also considered).
  • Experience building APIs in Python.
  • Any certification is added advantage.
  • Experience building large-scale applications and high-volume data pipelines
  • Working knowledge of orchestration tools, such as Apache Airflow
  • Ability to understand complex systems and solve challenging analytical problems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams


Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$86,520.00 - $173,040.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
