InnoTech Summer Undergraduate Internship 2025 – Enterprise Delivery – Finance Technology & Corporate Systems

Position Summary
This program is an 11-week full-time opportunity that provides real work experience with a team in your business area. You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. Our Corporate Interns can apply for future full-time roles during the program and have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a post-graduation role.

The summer internship program is from May 28 – August 8, 2025. 

CVS Health follows a 3 day in office (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice. 

 

Our office location for this role is Scottsdale, AZ. A housing stipend may be provided, based on eligibility, and interns will be given the opportunity to connect with each other prior to the start of the program to coordinate housing if desired. The hourly rate is $23.00 per hour with 40 hours per week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave.

About the Business Area

The Enterprise Delivery Finance Technology & Corporate Systems team supports the financial and corporate functions across CVS Health’s diverse lines of business, including healthcare, retail, and pharmacy services.

 

Key Functions & Platforms:

Our financial platform serves as the enterprise financial backbone, supporting:

• Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL)

• Billing, Invoicing, Payments, Reconciliation, Purchasing, Expense Management

• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Tax, Treasury, Investment/Pension Management, Retail Sales

 

Our Corporate Systems provide essential enterprise services, such as Corporate Security, Inventory & Asset Management, Compliance, Legal Tracking & Planning

What you will do

As a Developer on our Finance Technology team, you will:

• Develop and implement new capabilities for financial and corporate systems

• Utilize cutting-edge technologies including AI, machine learning, cloud computing, and advanced analytics

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless technology integration

• Explore and adopt new technologies to improve efficiency and system effectiveness

• Provide technical expertise while working on mission-critical projects in a fast-paced environment

 

This hands-on role offers the chance to grow your technical skills, gain real-world experience, and build relationships within CVS Health’s technology teams.

 

Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

 

Required Qualifications  

• Meet Education Requirements

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, SQL

• Experience developing software applications

• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

• Basic understanding of AI and machine learning principles

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Interest in finance technology and the business processes of CVS Health

 

 Preferred Qualifications  

• Leadership experience (e.g., student organizations, sports, or work-related projects)

• Experience leading a project at school or work

• Internship or work experience in a related field

• Strong communication skills (written & verbal)

• An interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation

• Experience developing AI applications using Generative AI (GenAI) APIs

• Ability to integrate GenAI capabilities into software solutions

• Familiarity with AI-powered chatbots (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) for coding tasks

• Hands-on experience with data science, analytics, and SAP platforms

• Ability to take initiative, work independently, and quickly adapt to new technologies

 

 Education  

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026 

• Preferred majors: Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
