Power & Load Optimization Trader
Tasks
- Collaborate with QSE and LSE stakeholders to ensure reliable market participation
- Communicate market insights and operational implications
- Coordinate load shed and demand response execution with operations
- Develop and execute ERCOT day ahead and real time trading strategies
- Evaluate basis risk and nodal exposure to improve positioning
- Monitor ERCOT fundamentals and pricing behavior across nodes and hubs
- Optimize large scale load positioning to reduce realized power costs
- Translate nodal pricing congestion and volatility into demand response decisions
- Use analytics and data models for real time and forward decisions
