- Create system architecture diagrams and specifications
- Design HPC clusters for performance and cost optimization
- Design compute networking storage components
- Develop and run system benchmarks profile bottlenecks optimize workflows
- Develop automation scripts for system management and deployment
- Ensure compute cluster resiliency reliability and maintainability
- Evaluate select hardware and software components
- Identify and mitigate technical risks
- Install, configure, and maintain HPC systems
