Deputy Manager - Simulations & Robotics
Tasks
- Build simulation station cell and line in PS by adding resources
- Conduct process studies for gun equipment fixtures and product changes
- Create OLP using virtual robot controllers with cycle time accuracy
- Create basic welding paths and zoning conditions
- Develop BIW process plans for manual and robotic welding
- Develop robotic welding simulation cells and OLP
- Ensure zero errors collisions and losses with execution teams
- Generate robot paths with collision free kinematics
- Generate simulation and OLP standards and check sheets
- Investigate root causes for cycle time targets
- Optimize robot paths and zoning with line builders
- Perform formability analysis of sheet metal parts
- Prepare line layout manufacturing process flow and cycle time charts
- Simulate sheet metal manufacturing using CAE tools
- Support installation commissioning and post SOP process stabilization
- Verify simulation and OLP with process and line teams
