AI Engineer
Tasks
- Build automated testing for prompts tools integrations and simulations
- Build evaluation strategies and regression suites with release gating
- Build reusable tool integration patterns with retries timeouts idempotency and pagination
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality failures and prevent regressions
- Contribute to model prompt routing rules classifiers and selection policies
- Create thin vertical slices and iterate with evidence
- Ensure production readiness with telemetry structured logging and traceability
- Ensure secure by design tool access with least privilege logging and PII handling
- Implement repeatable evaluation systems with dashboards and reporting
- Implement routing improvements with governance aware rollouts
- Lead MCP connector and client implementation with schema versioning and typed contracts
- Lead design and productionization of agent modules and reusable patterns
- Mentor peers through technical leadership reviews and playbooks
- Mitigate routing failure modes using rules or lightweight ML
- Optimize latency token efficiency tool call success retrieval quality and cost
- Participate in incident response and postmortems and align SLIs SLOs
- Proactively identify delivery risks and drive resolution
- Translate product requirements into agent behaviors and system designs
