Tasks

• Apply scene naming and versioning standards
• Collaborate with lighting CG and compositing supervisors
• Create lighting setups for shots and sequences
• Develop technical and artistic lighting solutions
• Document lighting setups and methods
• Identify and fix render artifacts and inconsistencies
• Maintain realism readability and subtlety in renders
• Optimize renders for integration with CG and compositing
• Optimize scenes to reduce render load
• Participate in internal training and process improvements
• Participate in team meetings turnovers and briefings
• Perform QC passes and address dailies notes
• Propose visual adjustments for storytelling
• Provide realistic estimates and communicate risks
• Refine lighting results for visual quality
• Serve as contact for lighting render status
• Share findings tools and scripts with the team
• Track plan progress and report technical issues
• Translate visual intent into lighting
• Use Houdini lighting workflows
