Assistant Manager, Fulfillment
Tasks
- Assist fulfillment managers as needed by providing coverage
- Complete job function time studies and audits and provide coaching
- Conduct interviewing hiring scheduling training and performance reviews
- Define picking and sorting SLAs KPIs and track daily
- Ensure safety and security compliance
- Establish operational policies standards and procedures
- Identify operational bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement
- Lead incident and injury investigations with HR Safety and Loss Prevention
- Manage daily warehouse operations to maximize productivity
- Manage up to 50 warehouse technicians
- Oversee loading unloading transfers supplies replenishment
- Oversee merchandise prep putaway cycle counting
- Oversee outbound fulfillment batching picking sorting
- Oversee outbound fulfillment manual packing auto packing
- Perform warehouse administrative activities housekeeping and organization
- Support warehouse safety initiatives
- Train teams on operational standards using SOPs and compliance audits
