Tasks
- Build data storage structures for MPP environments
- Collaborate with stakeholders on data requirements
- Design data warehousing star schemas
- Develop ETL data engineering processes
- Document ETL processes and data transformations
- Ensure data security and compliance with governance and privacy
- Extract data from CSV files
- Extract data from REST APIs
- Extract data from SQL database tables
- Implement data quality checks
- Maintain ETL pipelines and notebooks
- Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot failures
- Optimize ETL performance and meet SLAs
- Optimize notebook and pipeline scalability
- Transform and load data into Azure Synapse Analytics
