Tasks
- Architect ETL/ELT pipelines
- Collaborate with BI analytics and application teams
- Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards
- Design and manage indexing and query optimization
- Design data integration and transformation frameworks
- Develop and maintain dimensional data models
- Develop complex ETL workflows and transformations
- Develop stored procedures and functions
- Drive technical best practices and architecture governance
- Gather business requirements and translate into solutions
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance
- Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring
- Lead and mentor data engineering teams
- Manage incremental loads and data reconciliation
- Optimize batch processing and scheduling
- Own enterprise data warehouse solutions
- Support production issue resolution and root cause analysis
- Tune ETL jobs and SQL queries
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries
