Tasks
- Build CI CD pipelines for BI assets
- Certify BI datasets
- Collaborate with data engineering on lakehouse warehouse design
- Contribute to analytics roadmap architecture automation tooling
- Define modeling standards naming conventions metadata KPIs
- Design enterprise semantic models
- Evaluate emerging BI technologies AI automation
- Implement monitoring alerting observability
- Implement security access control and data governance
- Lead BI governance and version control
- Lead design reviews for BI initiatives
- Manage dataset lifecycle management and documentation
- Mentor BI specialists and business users
- Optimize dataset refresh incremental refresh partitioning
- Own Power BI semantic layer
- Partner to design ETL ELT processes
- Perform root cause analysis for BI pipelines and dashboards
- Provide technical guidance on analytics projects
- Translate business goals into data models
- Tune performance across SQL semantic models and datasets
