Tasks
- Analyze XCT images for soil structure voids fissures and disturbance
- Build image processing and computer vision models for soil photographs and XCT scans
- Define ground truth labels validation datasets and acceptance criteria
- Develop computer vision models for laboratory imaging
- Develop image classification feature detection and segmentation models
- Develop sample quality indicators and Sample Quality Index methodology
- Integrate image analytics with laboratory testing and geotechnical datasets
- Prepare image pre processing annotation labelling and quality control workflows
- Support AI assisted soil classification and specimen selection
- Validate model outputs against expert assessment and document model methods and limitations
