Data Center Technical Lead
Tasks
- Analyze and report operational performance results
- Analyze data to diagnose systemic issues
- Apply disciplinary process for staff performance issues
- Approve timecards
- Assist onboarding and training of new hires
- Coach and mentor staff
- Collaborate with data center leads across locations
- Conduct one on one status meetings
- Conduct performance reviews
- Debug hardware and operating system issues
- Ensure execution of local deliverables and metrics
- Execute turn up and turn down processes
- Improve operational performance and efficiency
- Install hardware and perform rack and stack
- Maintain data center documentation and knowledge base
- Maintain hardware test lab operations
- Manage server fleet support using ticketing system and SLAs
- Oversee daily management of staff and technicians
- Perform cabling and rack integration
- Perform device and system configuration
- Perform root cause analysis and drive resolution
- Provision and decommission servers
- Recommend hires for long term resources
- Screen and schedule labor resources
- Serve as first point of contact for IC4 technicians
- Use Linux command line tools and techniques
- Use Windows operating system troubleshooting
